Candis Kinkus is a veteran administrator, with comprehensive experience in hospital administration.  She has executed new cost-cutting programs, budget management and clinical programs for hospitals and medical institutions.  She has implemented various programs like communication structure and disciplinary teams in the institutions she has served and is serving.  This has resulted in resolutions of employee problems and meeting of institutional goals as well as employee goals.  She has created environment to increase revenue, decrease costs and manage the projects resourcefully.  She has guided all the institutions that she has worked to higher revenue generation.

  • Currently Candis Kinkus is employed, as an Administrative Director at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.  She is working here since November 2009.
  • From October 2001, to June 2009, she worked at Magee-Women’s Hospital, as director of department of pathology.
  • For a period of two years and ten months, (January 1999 to October 2001) she worked as Practice manager at Gateway Medical Group. Inc.  In her tenure, she closed down most of underperforming facilities.  She also introduced various budget programs.
  • She had been employed for the longest period of her career at Medical College of Pennsylvania and Allegheny General Hospital (June 1988 to December 1998).  Here she held various positions during her tenure.
  • For about a year and half (from October 1995 to February 1997) she had worked as a practice manger for Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.  She envisaged the building of a new facility costing $32 Million.  An innovative cross-training of staff she implemented helped in resolution of staff deficit caused by absenteeism.
  • Her first job had been as a Director at Morristown Memorial Hospital.  She worked here from June 1985 to May 1988.  She introduced a High tech joint-venture lab in this organisation, which ensured a revenue flow of millions of dollars for more than ten years.
